Lebanese Border Police Seize Two Cars Packed with Weapons Heading to Syria

Lebanese security sources said on Thursday April the 14th 2011 the Lebanese border police arrested two people of Syrian and Lebanese nationalities driving two cars packed with weapons in an attempt to cross the borders into the Syrian territories through the eastern Bekaa Valley. ‏

Agencies quoted a Lebanese security source as saying that the two cars were carrying a load of kalashnikov rifles, semi-automatic weapons and some bombs.‏
